- H. Rustvold Dies After Short Illness
Halvor A. Rustvold, 67, 212 10th Street South, died Tuesday morning, November 19, 1957 at a local hospital where he had been a patient since suffering a stroke November 3rd. Rustvold was born at Hendrum, Minnesota, December 29, 1889. He resided there until he came to Great Falls in 1918. Rustvold was employed by United Transfer Company here before retiring in 1955. His wife Celia died in 1952. Rustvold was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Survivors are eight sons and daughters, Herbert and Vernon Rustvold, Mrs. Archie McCallum, Mrs. E. E. Lenci and Mrs. James LePard, all of Great Falls; Donald Rustvold of Enumclaw, Washington; Mrs. Robert M. Babcock, Orinda, California, and Mrs. Stanley Kaplan, Neptune, New Jersey.
He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Harry Wallace, Great Falls; Mrs. Joseph Stordahl, Fairfield, and Mrs. Bennie A. Olson, Newport, Oregon; four brothers, Nels of Bremerton, Washington, Ed of Richland, Washington, and Arndt and Alfred of Nashwauk, Minnesota; 18 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
