- Services for Donald LeRoy
Johnson, 51, who died Sunday in a local hospital, will be held Wednesday.
Johnson was a carpenter for the past 15 years and had lived in Santa Cruz five years. He was born in Willow City, North Dakota, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 460 of Santa Cruz; the Sons of Norway, and Carpenters Union 2006 of Los Gatos. He was a World War II veteran.
He leaves his wife, Doretta Johnson of Scotts Valley; his daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Pamela) Matis of Logan, Utah; two sons, Craig Johnson and Bruce Johnson, both of Scotts Valley; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Johnson of Scotts Valley; a sister, Twyla Krohn of Pacifica, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Irvin M. Smith and Sons Chapel of the Four Seasons, 1050 Cayuga St., at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, with the Rev. Fred. B. Whale in charge. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
